TikTok access review checklist

Work top to bottom in one sitting. Each section is a separate access surface, and a person can sit in more than one. The goal is simple: by the end, every name and every partner on the list is someone you can explain.

The account itself

• Confirm the account email and phone number are still yours and current
• Confirm two-factor authentication is on and tied to a device or number you control
• Review the logged-in devices list and remove any you do not recognise
• Confirm no one outside the business knows the account password

Business Center — people and partners

• Review every person under Users — remove anyone whose work has ended
• Confirm each remaining person has the lowest role that still lets them do their job
• Confirm there are only as many Admins as you genuinely need
• Review Partners — remove any agency whose engagement is over
• After removing a partner, check no individual people it assigned are still on your assets

Ad accounts

• Open each ad account and review its user list (Admin / Standard / Analyst)
• Remove anyone who left or no longer runs campaigns
• Confirm only the people who manage spend hold Admin
• Check who controls billing and payment methods on each account

TikTok Shop (Seller Center)

• Sign in to Seller Center and review every staff account
• Remove staff who have left and tighten roles that are broader than needed
• Review any service or partner accounts connected to the Shop
• Confirm who can issue refunds, change payout details, and edit listings

Spark Ads and loose ends

• Review any Spark Ads authorisation codes you have shared and revoke ones no longer in use
• Confirm any creators or partners you collaborated with no longer hold standing authorisation
• Record who has what and set the next review date on the calendar
