Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-06-25
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the Delvia Content Hub (delvia.org) collects, why, and the rights you have over it. In plain terms: we run a static knowledge site with no accounts and no sign-up, and the only data we collect is privacy-friendly, consent-based analytics that help us see which guides are useful.
Who we are (data controller)
The Delvia Content Hub is operated by Delvia Inc. ("Delvia", "we", "us"). For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@delvia.app.
The Hub is an informational resource. It is independent of the Delvia product and you do not need a Delvia account to use it.
What we collect
We do not ask you to register, log in, or fill in forms, and we do not sell anything on this site. We collect only two kinds of information:
- Analytics (with your consent). When you accept analytics in the cookie banner, our analytics provider records how the site is used — pages viewed, links and guide sections you interact with, scroll depth, time on a page, and the type of site you arrived from (e.g. a search engine), along with general technical details such as browser, operating system and device type. This is configured to be anonymous: we do not identify you, and IP addresses are not stored.
- Messages you send us. If you email us (for example at hello@delvia.app), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, so we can reply.
We do not run advertising, ad-tracking, cross-site tracking, or profiling, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- Analytics — to understand which guides help and where people get stuck, so we can improve the content. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give via the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time. If you decline, no analytics are loaded.
- Replying to messages — to answer questions or feedback you send us. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in responding to enquiries.
Who processes the data (service providers)
We keep the stack deliberately small and EU-hosted. We share data only with the providers needed to run the site:
- PostHog — product analytics, hosted on PostHog's EU Cloud (Frankfurt, Germany). Analytics data is processed in the European Union.
- Hetzner — web hosting and content delivery (data centres in Germany and Finland, European Union).
These providers act as our processors under contract and may only use the data to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers.
Where your data is stored
Analytics and the site itself are hosted in the European Union (PostHog EU Cloud and Hetzner). Where any transfer outside your region occurs, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Analytics — retained by our analytics provider for no longer than necessary to understand usage trends, in line with their data-retention settings, and then deleted or aggregated.
- Emails — kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. Under the EU/UK GDPR these include the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time:
- Withdraw analytics consent any time using Cookie settings in the site footer — this stops further analytics immediately.
- Ask us what data we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing hello@delvia.app.
- If you are in the EU/UK, lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
- If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Cookies and local storage
We set non-essential cookies only after you consent. For the full list — including the strictly-necessary items that remember your theme and your cookie choice — see our Cookie Policy at delvia.org/cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version; material changes will be reflected here.
