TikTok Business App Keeps Asking for Authorization
Repeated authorization prompts point to a linking or permission step that never fully completed.
Is this your situation?
You approve the authorization request and the TikTok app asks again soon after. You keep checking whether the TikTok account was linked to Business Center for ad delivery or for account management.
The short answer
Linking an existing TikTok account to a Business Center grants the Business Center permission to use the account's identity and posts for ads. That link depends on the TikTok account user scanning a QR code in the TikTok app and granting Business Center permissions.
What you see, and why
| Symptom | Cause |
|---|---|
| The app repeats the authorization request after you approve it. | The TikTok account user must scan the QR code and grant Business Center permissions to the account. |
| The account does not appear as linked in Business Center. | When a linking request is approved, the TikTok account will appear in the TikTok accounts tab in Business Center. |
| The Permissions column does not show the access you expected. | After a linking request is approved, the Permissions column shows Manage account, indicating the Business Center can connect the account to an ad account for campaign delivery and manage its organic presence. |
