How to remove TikTok ad account access

Take someone off your TikTok ad account and confirm they can no longer spend or edit campaigns. Here is how to remove ad account access cleanly.

Removing a person from an ad account ends their ability to view, build, or spend on that account. If the access was granted through Business Center rather than directly, you remove it there instead — so check both places. The person keeps their own TikTok account; you are only ending their access to this ad account.

If your situation is actually …

Before you start

  • You are an Admin on the ad account

Only an Admin can remove members.

  • You know how the access was granted

Directly in Ads Manager, or via a Business Center assignment — the removal happens where it was granted.

Remove an ad account member

  1. Open the members list

In Ads Manager, open the ad account settings and the members area.

    Where: ads.tiktok.com → Account settings → Members

  2. Remove the person

Find the person and remove them from the ad account.

    Where: ads.tiktok.com → Account settings → Members → remove

Confirm: They no longer appear in the members list.

  3. Check Business Center too

If the account is in a Business Center, confirm the person is not still assigned the ad account there.

    Where: business-center.tiktok.com → Assets → Advertiser accounts

Access issues are easier to prevent when roles, owners, and responsibilities are recorded clearly

Most access problems trace back to the same gap — no clear record of who has access, what role they hold, and what should happen when that changes. Delvia helps you keep that record so problems are visible before they become incidents.

Delvia is free on iPhone and Android. Keep a clear record of who has access to your accounts — and what to do when that changes — wherever you are.
