Fix a stuck work-email verification by using the exact steps LinkedIn checks.
Is this your situation?
You tried to verify a work email for a LinkedIn Page and the badge never appeared, or the process says unverified. You need the steps LinkedIn checks, not a generic retry.
The short answer
Workplace verification must be done using your current company email address, and it must match your company's email domain. A confirmation code is sent to that email; enter it before the code expires 15 minutes after receipt.
Before you start
- Confirm this is your current company The work email must match the current company's email domain.Verify: An example of a matching format is yourname@YourCompanyName.com.
- Confirm you are on desktop A verification badge can be added only from the desktop experience.Verify: Check that you are on a desktop browser.
- Confirm you have a super admin role A super admin may see the option to verify workplace association using work email.Verify: Check your role in Page settings first.
How LinkedIn handles this
- Other members who view a verified profile can see the verification badge but cannot see the email address provided for verification.
- After verifying the workplace, the verification badge is added to the LinkedIn Page.
- After verifying the workplace, the verification badge is also added to the personal profile if you don't already have one.
- After workplace verification, LinkedIn performs additional reviews on the Page using third-party vendors.

- Open the code in your work email The verification code is accessed in the work email account.Confirm: Check your work email account for the code message. If this fails: If no code is received, click Resend code.
- Enter the code and confirm Enter the code and click Confirm.Confirm: After entering the valid code, the work email is verified. If this fails: A code expires 15 minutes after receipt.
- Wait for additional review LinkedIn performs additional reviews on the Page using third-party vendors after verification.Confirm: Check Verification controls for an updated status.
- Check for the badge If the additional review is approved, the Page will receive a verification badge.Confirm: Check the Page name for the verification badge.
- Check the personal profile too If the review is approved, the personal profile will also receive the verification badge.Confirm: Check your profile name for the badge as well.
Common mistakes
- Using a personal email address Workplace verification must be done using the current company email address. Why it happens: A personal address does not match the company email domain.Already happened: If access to the Page is unclear, see who really owns a profile or page role.
- Trying this on mobile A verification badge can be added to a LinkedIn Page only from the desktop experience. Why it happens: The feature is limited to the desktop experience.
- Letting the code expire The verification code expires 15 minutes after receipt. Why it happens: The code is time-limited and must be entered before it expires.
- Expecting an immediate badge LinkedIn performs additional reviews on the Page using third-party vendors after workplace verification. Why it happens: The badge depends on this additional review being approved.
