How to Verify a LinkedIn Company Page

Verification signals that your Page is official. Here is who can request it and what it needs.

Is this your situation?

When a page is verified, it indicates that LinkedIn has confirmed, based on objective criteria, that the page represents the official organization. You are checking what makes a Page eligible and who can request it.

The short answer

A super admin of an eligible Page can request verification only from the desktop experience. Eligibility may depend on engagement with LinkedIn or an established commercial relationship such as Ads, Jobs, or Premium Company Page.

Before you start

  • Confirm you are a super admin Only a super admin of an eligible Page can request verification.Verify: Check your role in Manage admins.
  • Use the desktop experience Verification can only be requested from the desktop experience.Verify: Sign in on a computer, not the mobile app.
  • Review commercial relationship An established commercial relationship can include recurring products like Ads, Jobs, or Premium Company Page.Verify: Check whether your Page uses any of these products.

How LinkedIn handles this

  • The verification badge helps signal that the page is an official page of the organization, which helps build credibility with customers and job applicants.
  • Once a page is verified, it enables employees of that company to verify their workplace.
  • Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that a Page will be verified; Pages must complete and pass LinkedIn's review process.
  • Verification does not guarantee the accuracy of all content on the page, and does not imply LinkedIn's endorsement of the organization or its activities.

  9. Wait for the eligibility decision The Verification controls page displays the page verification status as Pending while LinkedIn evaluates the request.Confirm: Check Verification controls for the Pending status.
  10. Re-confirm domain ownership if required If the domain confirmation process times out, re-do the verification steps to confirm domain ownership.Confirm: Check Verification controls for an updated status.
