What Is Partner Access in Meta Business Portfolio
Partner access lets an agency work in your assets without ever owning them. It is the safe way to bring in help — here is how it works.
Partner access is how one business gives another business access to its assets — typically how you bring in an agency. You add the partner by their Business Portfolio ID, then grant their portfolio access to specific Pages or ad accounts. The crucial part: a partner is given access, never ownership. Your portfolio keeps owning everything; the partner just gets to work in it, and you can cut that access off in one place whenever you choose.
How partner access works
In Business Suite → Settings → Partners, you add the other business using their Business Portfolio ID (they share it with you), then assign them access to named assets — this Page, that ad account — at a chosen level. Their team members then work through their own portfolio; you never deal with individual logins on their side.
Because the relationship is portfolio-to-portfolio, it is clean to manage. You are not adding ten freelancers one by one; you are granting one partner portfolio access to specific assets, and the partner manages its own people internally.
Access, never ownership
A partner is granted access to your assets; they do not become an owner of them. Your business portfolio remains the owner of the Page, the ad account, the pixel. When the engagement ends, you revoke the partner's access and the assets stay exactly where they were — with you.
This is the whole point. The dangerous alternative is letting an agency's portfolio own your assets, which can leave you locked out when you part ways. Partner access gives the agency everything it needs to work while the deed stays firmly in your name.

Access issues are easier to prevent when roles, owners, and responsibilities are recorded clearly
Most access problems trace back to the same gap — no clear record of who has access, what role they hold, and what should happen when that changes. Delvia helps you keep that record so problems are visible before they become incidents.
