TikTok invite link has expired

A TikTok Business Center invite that has expired can’t be reused. Here is how to confirm the expiry, clear the old entry, and issue a fresh invite that works.

Business Center invites don’t stay valid forever. If a teammate still hasn’t accepted and the link now says it has expired or is no longer valid, the invite has lapsed — and you’ll need to remove the old pending entry before sending a new one.

If your situation is actually …

How expiry works

When you invite someone in Business Center, TikTok sends them a link and holds a pending entry in your Users list. That link is only valid for a limited window. If the person doesn’t accept in time, the link stops working and the entry goes stale.

The catch is that a stale entry doesn’t always clear itself. It can sit in your Users list looking pending, and re-inviting the same address while that ghost entry exists can cause confusion or get blocked. The reliable approach is always remove first, then re-invite — not just re-invite.

Clear and re-send an expired invite

You need an Admin role on the Business Center to do this. It takes a couple of minutes.

  1. Open the Users list

Go to business-center.tiktok.com and open Users. You’ll see current members and any pending invites.

    Where: business-center.tiktok.com → Users

  2. Remove the expired pending entry

Find the teammate’s email in the pending list and remove or revoke that entry. This clears the lapsed invite so a new one can be issued cleanly.

Confirm: The expired entry disappears from the pending list.

  3. Send a fresh invite

Invite the teammate’s exact email again, choose the role you intend, and assign the assets they need. Ask them to accept promptly this time, while signed into the matching TikTok account.

    Where: business-center.tiktok.com → Users

Confirm: A new pending invite appears and a fresh email goes out.

Access issues are easier to prevent when roles, owners, and responsibilities are recorded clearly

Most access problems trace back to the same gap — no clear record of who has access, what role they hold, and what should happen when that changes. Delvia helps you keep that record so problems are visible before they become incidents.

Delvia is free on iPhone and Android. Keep a clear record of who has access to your accounts — and what to do when that changes — wherever you are.
