How to Request Access to a TikTok Business Center
Need into a client or employer’s Business Center? Here is how to request access the right way, what they have to approve, and how to chase a stuck request.
When you need to work inside someone else’s Business Center — a client’s or an employer’s — the cleanest route is for their Admin to invite you, or for you to request access that their Admin approves. You should never be asked for, or hand over, anyone’s login. If you are an agency, the right pattern is a partner connection between Business Centers rather than individual access.
If your situation is actually …
- You are an agency, not an individual → Add an agency to a Business Center →
- The invite they sent is not working → Business Center invite not working →
Before you start
You have your own TikTok For Business login
You accept access with your own account; you never use the other party’s login.
You know whose Business Center you need
Have the contact who is an Admin there, since they must approve.
You know what access you need
Be specific about which accounts or ad accounts you need, so they assign the right assets.
Get into someone else’s Business Center
Ask their Admin to invite you
The simplest path: their Business Center Admin invites your email under Users and assigns you the assets you need.
Where: their business-center.tiktok.com → Users (done by their Admin)
Accept the invitation
Open the invitation and accept it while signed in to your own account.
Confirm: You appear in their Users list and can see the assets they assigned.
If this fails: Invite not working
Confirm you have what you need
Check that the assigned accounts and ad accounts are actually visible to you, and ask for any that are missing.
If this fails: Can’t access the account
Common mistakes
Accepting a shared login instead of an invite
Using someone’s login puts you in their account with no record of your work and no clean way to be removed. Always ask for a proper invite.
Why it happens: A login feels quicker than walking them through an invite.
Already happened: Safer alternatives to sharing a login

Access issues are easier to prevent when roles, owners, and responsibilities are recorded clearly
Most access problems trace back to the same gap — no clear record of who has access, what role they hold, and what should happen when that changes. Delvia helps you keep that record so problems are visible before they become incidents.
