How to Add a Partner to TikTok Shop

Authorize a partner or service provider on your TikTok Shop without sharing the Seller Center login. Here is how partner access works and how to grant it.

A TikTok Shop partner is a service provider — an agency, a fulfilment partner, or a tool — that you authorize to work on your Shop. This is separate from adding individual staff: a partner authorization is granted in Seller Center and is scoped to what the partner needs. As with everything on TikTok, you authorize the partner rather than handing over the Shop login, and you can withdraw the authorization later.

If your situation is actually …

Before you start

  • You can manage authorizations in Seller Center

You need owner or admin-level access to authorize partners.

  • You know the partner you are authorizing

Have the partner’s details so you authorize the right one and scope it correctly.

  • You have agreed the scope

Decide what the partner should be able to do before authorizing, so you grant the minimum.

Authorize a Shop partner

  1. Open the partner or authorization area

In Seller Center, find the area for authorizing partners or service providers, which is separate from staff management.

Where: TikTok Shop Seller Center → partner / authorization

  2. Authorize the partner

Grant the partner authorization to your Shop and set the scope of what they can do.

If this fails: Shop access not working

  3. Confirm and keep a record

Confirm the partner shows as authorized, and note what you granted and a date to review it.

Confirm: The partner appears as authorized with its scope.

Common mistakes

  • Sharing the Seller Center login with the partner

A shared login gives the partner everything and removes your ability to scope or cleanly revoke. Partner authorization exists to avoid this.

Why it happens: It feels faster than learning the authorization flow.

Frequently asked questions

No. Staff are individuals you add to your Shop; a partner is a service provider you authorize, with its own scope.

Access issues are easier to prevent when roles, owners, and responsibilities are recorded clearly

Most access problems trace back to the same gap — no clear record of who has access, what role they hold, and what should happen when that changes. Delvia helps you keep that record so problems are visible before they become incidents.

Delvia is free on iPhone and Android. Keep a clear record of who has access to your accounts — and what to do when that changes — wherever you are.
