How to Recover LinkedIn Admin Access After Removing Your Own Role
You removed your own admin role on a LinkedIn Page, and no one else holds super admin access.
Is this your situation?
You removed your own admin role from a LinkedIn Page and now have no way to manage it. You are checking whether another admin on the Page can restore your access.
The short answer
Every Page must have at least one super admin. If you are the only super admin, you must assign another super admin before removing your own admin role.
Before you start
- Identify remaining admins Check whether another super admin exists on the Page.Verify: A Page admin can edit the roles of other current admins.
- Confirm your own sign-in Make sure you are signed in to the profile that previously had access.Verify: A member signs in to their own LinkedIn account where they have admin access to reach the page admin view.
- Check your position on your profileVerify: A member must list their current position with the organization on their profile before requesting admin access.

- Each Page must have at least one super admin when making changes to admin roles.

Common mistakes
- Assuming desktop steps work on mobile Editing admin roles can only be done through the desktop version of LinkedIn.Why it happens: You expect the role-editing screen to appear wherever you normally manage the Page.
- Removing the last super admin role Each Page must have at least one super admin when making changes to admin roles. Why it happens: You change roles and do not notice you are the last super admin listed.Already happened: If no admin remains, see recover admin access after the admin left.
- Expecting self-assignment To become an admin of a Page, a member must request admin access or be granted access by an existing admin. Why it happens: You look for a way to restore your own role and find no such option.

Keeping track of who has access
Once access is restored, you need a way to track who holds each admin role on a Page. Delvia keeps that record in one place so a role removal does not leave a Page without an owner.
