How to manage Instagram through Meta Accounts Center

Meta Accounts Center connects Instagram with your other Meta accounts in one place. Use it to manage passwords, security, and linked profiles.

Accounts Center is Meta's shared control panel for your Instagram, Facebook, and other Meta profiles. It is where password, two-factor, and login security now live, and where you choose which accounts are linked for shared sign-in and settings. Linking accounts is a convenience, not a merge — each account stays its own entity under your control.

If your situation is actually …

Before you start

  • Access to your Instagram account

Accounts Center is reached from the Instagram app settings.

  • The Meta accounts you want to link

You decide which profiles to connect — linking is optional.

Where: Accounts Center → Password and security

  3. Review linked profiles

Accounts Center mistakes

  • Linking accounts you did not mean to connect

Linking shares some settings and login flows. Only link accounts you genuinely own and want joined.

  • Assuming Accounts Center is the same as team access

Accounts Center is for your own linked profiles. To give other people access, use Meta Business settings instead.

Frequently asked questions

No. Linked accounts share some login and settings convenience but remain separate accounts you can unlink at any time.

Access issues are easier to prevent when roles, owners, and responsibilities are recorded clearly

Most access problems trace back to the same gap — no clear record of who has access, what role they hold, and what should happen when that changes. Delvia helps you keep that record so problems are visible before they become incidents.

Delvia is free on iPhone and Android. Keep a clear record of who has access to your accounts — and what to do when that changes — wherever you are.
