Troubleshooting
Discord Setting Missing or Moved on Mobile
A desktop-only setting has not vanished — mobile stores some controls in a different place.
Is this your situation?
You know a setting exists because you have used it on desktop, and on your phone it is nowhere to be found. You are checking whether this is a mobile limitation before assuming something changed on your account.
The short answer
You expect to find a setting on mobile where it sits on desktop, and it is not there. Updates to AutoMod rules cannot be made on mobile devices at this time. Report Raid is only accessible on the desktop client and in community servers.
What you see, and why
| Symptom | Cause |
|---|---|
| AutoMod rules cannot be created or edited from your phone. | Updates to AutoMod rules cannot be made on mobile devices at this time. |
| Report Raid does not appear in your server dropdown on mobile. | Report Raid is only accessible on the desktop client and in community servers. |
| Verification Level controls are in a different spot than on desktop. | On mobile, after being redirected to Server Settings, the Moderation option must be tapped. |
